My mayor election was graphic design at UdG, there I learned about endless topics such as socializing, making friends, design a variety of graphics such as: publicity, logotipes, imagotipes, iconography, posters, merchandise, infographics, internal paperwork, protoitypes etc. I also formaliced mi knowdledge in traditional drawing and painting. I also learned how to plan marketing campaings, administer social media, collaborators and budgets. And most importante of all I learned how to not fuck shit up in real life.

It’s hard for me to recommend the MNEE, I did learn a lot, but I din’t learn what I needed nor expected. I expected to learn about to manage mi own enterprise armed with scientifical knowledge about how to not fail in Mexico, instead I learned I like stadistics a lot, how to programm in R, how to cope with impossible workloads, to writte like a scientist, docens of sad realities about Mexica and Cuba that I would rather not know, and a lot of economic and administrative teoria but without the tools to put it into good use.

In the middle of my master I went on an exchange program in which I resided in the center of Germany, at the city of Göttingen. The I meet not just germans, but also people from all over the world and for some reason y learned more about business in this short stay than during the year and a half of my master in Mexico, specially about digital and mixed business, and how to scalate them.

My first formal job, I did graphic design in the general sense, and with it some publicity, but most of my clients would ask me to do vectorial drawings and redraws in black and white, these needed to be printed in acetate as part of a mayor process in jewelry. I obteined lots of experience but it wasn’t what I wanted to do long term so I left in good terms.

My goal at the time was to dedicate myself to graphic interface design, be it for web, apps, programms, or videogames, here they dedicated themselves to it and I was able to enter with no experience thanks to the goverment program “jovenes construyendo el futuro”, nonetheless a small detail from the CEO made me cut my stay in half.

After Karaokulta and through the same goberment program I was accepted at EMAR as a senior graphic designer, I did everything in there, publicity, translation, manuals, catalogs, web design and administration, cameraman for fotography and video, photo and video editing, design and sending of massive email among other endless task. I left to try to evolve my freelance business into my own business.

After finishing my masters I was slowly making my own business but I needed more money than I had and a friend came and told me “learn autocad and solidwoks and I will recommend you to a well paid job” and we did exactly as said, I learned the program and a lot of knowledge related to hotel furniture. I was accepted in the team but I kept learning until I was the most efficient member in the team. Alas I was fired without official explanation during the beginning of 2026.
